Dagnab it!  I think I'm coming down with a chest cold.  This bloody weather is the culprit.  One day it's warm, the next really cold.  You never know what to wear.  When I dress for cold it gets warm and vice-versa.  Geesh!!
Went down to the pond after helping a friend pull clay.  We had lunch at a local pharmacy that has a "cafe" and man, was it good.  Grilled cheese on sourdough bread and a root beer float.  Yum.  Yeah I know, not WW fare but I'm allowed once in a while.
Anyway, the pipe wasn't quite as blocked as I thought it might be.  Not as much mud and sticks on top.  It still needed clearing, though, 'cause there were a gazillion leaves hove up against the sides.  Although water was flowing through it wasn't enough so I sacrificed my right hand to the cold and cleared away the leaves, etc.  The flow of water increased greatly.  When I looked out my window this morning the water level looked to be where it's supposed to be.  I'm still going to have to go down there every few days even though I didn't see any more leaves on the surface of the water.  There's enough of a current to bring submerged ones to the crate.  Sigh.....
Well, it's off to the gallery after morning ablutions.  Y'all have a tremendous day and remember:  You're not aging....you're fermenting.

Never heard that saying, but I like it!

I probably smell like I'm fermenting sometimes!

Glad you got the tree at a good price and the water is flowing good again!

Sure hope you don't have a chest cold...they are miserable. What a way to start December! Hope you feel better soon.

That's a cold job cleaning out that pipe, brrr. We have a winter storm watch for tonight with possible freezing rain after midnight. So it will be brrr cold here, too.

Take care..blessings!
