Waiting

I've saved up enough to get some landscape work done.  Now I'm just waiting for the weather to cooperate.  There are heavy looking clouds in the sky this morning so it may be another day without any work getting done.  Hell, they haven't even started.  Equipment is sitting in the yard making fun of me.   I'm going to work outside today as much as I can tolerate. 
Why do we depend on weather forecasts when, for the most part, they're wrong?  Arrrrgh!!

Catching up

Yesterday was a fairly productive day.  I tried to catch up on things that hadn't been done last week because of dealing with daughter's mechanical problems.  Luckily those were solved, although my checkbook cried a lot, and she was able to journey to Illinois where her band is performing.  I'd explain but you'd be bored to tears.
The pond pipe was cleared.  Some weeding was done.  Gutters somewhat cleaned (need to get longer ladder).  Half of laundry done.  Some weeds killed.  More laundry to do today as well as come cleaning and dusting (ugh).
Y'all have a most pleasant day and remember:  everything seems funnier when you aren't allowed to laugh.

Haven't had anything to say lately.  Life is muddling along as usual.  I could list all my complaints but it wouldn't do anything about them.  So I think I'll just say that I hope everyone has a most pleasant day.
