Go away! My poor driveway has creeks again and the pond....well we won't even go there. I went there yesterday early afternoon and cleared the cage around the pipe but, alas, will have to do it again when it STOPS RAINING!! The only good thing I get out of my excursions down to the pond is exercise. And forget any veggies or fruit. It's rained so much that everything is just rotting instead of ripening. I did notice a few figs yesterday and, if the weather would cooperate, might get to pick some before they rot or the birds or squirrels, ants, etc. get them. Sigh.
Okay, on a funnier note please remember: Never take a sleeping pill and a laxative at the same time.

- I live in a log cabin in North Georgia. I have crafter's ADD so I do many things such as knitting, quilting, basketry, and making jewelry. Some of it actually sells. Otherwise I spend a lot of time with my daughter (she introduced me to the world of blogging). I am an older woman (not OLD) who is crotchety, sometimes abrasive, and truthful 99.5% of the time. I like to travel and, if ever given the opportunity, would love to see more of this country, even though I've already seen quite a bit.

Been a wet one here too. Drought out west. Anyone having any luck growing food? Could be grim down the road.
