It's gone...maybe
I listened and watched last night. No soft whirring sound, no soft breeze. I think it's gone. Hopefully the open window did the trick and I won't find a bat that died of starvation somewhere in the house.
Hope it's really gone, Momlady! Can't imagine a bat in my house - yuk! Even though they're mostly harmless, I just don't like them. Mama had a possum in her house for a while - even built a nest. Bubba and I, even an exterminator could not find it, but eventually a varmit-catcher did. Nasty! Storming like a son-of-a-gun moments ago, but quiet as a church mouse now - go figure ... Be prepared.
I actually love bats, but I'd druther not have one in the house, thank you very much! I don't think I could breathe, with the covers tucked up all around my head! We're getting some of that wicked weather that's been moving up through Georgia today, so I'm shutting the computer down for now, and I'm off to bed. Stay safe, my friend!
I live in a log cabin in North Georgia. I have crafter's ADD so I do many things such as knitting, quilting, basketry, and making jewelry. Some of it actually sells. Otherwise I spend a lot of time with my daughter (she introduced me to the world of blogging). I am an older woman (not OLD) who is crotchety, sometimes abrasive, and truthful 99.5% of the time. I like to travel and, if ever given the opportunity, would love to see more of this country, even though I've already seen quite a bit.

Thanks for the heads up, Baby Sis. We usually get your weather about three days later. No bat last night .
That's kinda spooky! I'm glad that you got rid of the bat and I hope you don't have a return visit!
