It is raining...still...and it's going to rain some more. I'm feeling quite soggy. Went down to the pond yesterday and, as I expected, the overflow pipe was blocked. Had sooooo much fun getting the muck and water lilies away from the milk crate covering the pipe. Must go down again today before going to my daughter's to make sure it's still open. I'll not be wearing the waders, though. I found out that I have to bend over with my face almost touching the water in order to get to the muck, etc. so it's useless really to wear the waders and rain jacket. I'll wear old clothes and shoes and not care if I get soaked. Just hope I don't get cold, although the water isn't too bad right now. Wish me luck.
