It was a nice, laid back day at my daughter's. Didn't do anything in particular except get the dinner ready and chit chat. J showed me all the treasures gleaned from cleaning out a friend's abandoned house. Some of the stuff they can use. Other will be put on Craig's list. My part in fixing dinner was to do the mashed potatoes. For some reason my daughter likes the way I do them. Cleaning up was my main contribution.
I'll be going in to the gallery today and my lunch will be a nice turkey sandwich. Tonight I'll have the veggies and whatever turkey wasn't used in the sandwich for dinner. There's just something about a turkey sandwich the day after that completes the holiday.
Black Friday will have to go on without my help. I can't believe the behavior that goes on. Bunch of blooming idiots in my opinion. And it now starts even earlier! Who the heck wants to go shopping on Thanksgiving? I guess wives whose husbands are glued to the football games on TV. The mall and Walmart will not see me until after New Year's day. It's the reason I do my shopping throughout the year. Or online.
Y'all have a nice post-turkey day and remember: Now Santa Claus is coming to town.

Glad you had a nice Thanksgiving..
I did too, only my daughter and family came here to the farm.
What is it about mashed potatoes? My daughter likes mine better, too!
I have only gone to one Black Friday and that was enough and that was 25 years ago! Today I am relaxing and going to read blogs and a good book!
Have a nice weekend! Blessings!
Hi, CottonLady.....Black Friday is just that....black. It seems someone always is seriusly injured or worse, dies. All for the sake of having something the TV commercials tell them they can't live without it. Glad to hear you had a nice day. Wish I could curl up with a good book, but the gallery needs to stay open.
Mum does 'em better, and it frees me up to do the gravy and whatnot. I still think there weren't enough taters - we're going to run out of leftovers before March!
Shade and Sweetwater,
K
