Allergies

I never would have thought that when I grew older that I would develop allergies.  Unfortunately for me I have.  Woke up this morning with a wicked sinus headache and the sniffles.  Pollen is in the air.  Not very visible to the naked eye but, since my truck as a yellow/green powdery addition to the paint, I've concluded that pollen is out in full force.  This phenomenon (allergy) has only shown up in the last three or four years and it's getting worse each year.  There's a lot of yard work to be done so I take an over the counter allergy med each morning. I'm hoping that it continues to work.  When I see it's supposed to get up into the 80's I try to get out before the sun comes up from behind the trees to get something accomplished outside.  Today I'm taking the day off from that.  Have other stuff I have to do.  Going to stay in the AC and hope my sinuses stop hurting so much.  How are y'all doing?

Just about the same thing has happened here, to both Hubby and me. We're now in transition from "yellow" season to "green" season, depending on the color of pollen that envelopes the cars and outdoor furniture. Then comes the humidity - gotta love the Gulf Coast! But we have had a really overall nice Spring, and long, too. Just now hitting the mid-80s.

Thank goodness I don't have allergies...yet! I have enough to deal with as it is. Sorry to hear that it is causing so much discomfort to you and I hope the medication keeps working for ya!

A warm day with a south wind and I was done in. My sinus headache made everything three times as hard. Even people who aren't normally bothered were overwhelmed by this allergy season.

Baby Sis...Our "Spring" has been cold and wet but now the sun shines and it's warming up. Hopefully it'll stay a little drier.
HJ...lucky you re: allergies. But it's hell getting older isn't it!
Sixbears...I know what you mean.
Thank y'all for stopping by.
