Not much has been going on here. We've gotten some rain, which is welcome. The garden appreciates it anyway. I'll be at the gallery all day. Really need to get some new ideas in my head about projects to work on. My creative juices seem to have dried up (temporarily, I hope). Maybe when I get down to Michael's tomorrow I'll see something to spark an idea.
Today is my son's 42nd birthday. Wow, has time flown. Hard to believe. He's in England with his family to get away from the Georgia heat. It's raining there so they are pretty much stuck inside. Bummer.
Still hoping the west gets the much needed rain. Drought sucks. Maybe if we all put the picture of it raining in TX, it'll happen. Hey, couldn't hurt.
Found out a friend has a fairly serious health problem. Hope she can get it taken care of. What surprises me is that she doesn't have high cholesterol or any kind of heart condition 'cause her diet and smoking do not lead to healthy living. I told her I thought it was the pickle juice she drinks.....yup, pickle juice.
Well, guess I'd better get a move on. Y'all have the kind of day you wish for and remember.....only you can prevent wildfires.

Have you ever thought of doing some knotted friendship bracelets? I know they aren't done in metal, but it's a good way of passing the time and being creative, all at once!
Called "survival straps" and "departure bracelets", they sell on line for around 10 dollars! I started making them out of paracord!
Take a look at this guys site and see what he does!

Just a thought!
Thanks for the idea! I'll take a look.
